The Calling: Spiritboxes Part 2

So lets get into Spiritboxes. What are they exactly? Well originally someone came to the conclusion that spiritual entities could disrupt electricity. It is thought that in order to manifest they could utilize electricity, and is thought to be the cause of batteries draining and for the fluctuations in current (lights dimming, radio feedback, signal variation, etc). Then someone came to the conclusion of trying to communicate, using the "yes or no" method, like two taps for "yes" or three taps for "no" that can be found in a seance, but using a light as the current is disrupted. Now since we have had audio recordings, people have begun to pick up anomalous sounds as well. Records, Tapes, and digital recording have caught things. Even observed radio signals have picked up odd signals. Sometime these sessions are brief, and sometimes they last for a while. No one has tried to explain who they work....just given examples that they do. Some people will known these types of communications as EVP sessions or even the Video Tapes using White Noise.

As our technology improves and our understanding through experimentation, we know that things pop up with white noises and echo. If you look at old folklore and magic, this is way music and rhythm is used, there is something with sound and vibration that taps us in to communication. Back to modern day technology, people have thought using random audio or an electronic database would help in communication. This is where I have trouble understanding.....

Who does the being on the otherside know how to operate the mechanism? Especially given that the technology is new. How does a ghost know binary and let alone be able to read an electronic database?
I as an individual cannot hold up a flashdrive and microchip in my hand and intuitive know its contents....so if I am dead I gain those powers? I can understand audio recordings and disruption of a current, but a talking spirit box....not to sure. However, as I said there are more than one type of these devices....some work on other principles as using radio signals and echo distortion, or even allowing us to hear within a different range.
(Side Note: We know that the range of hearing difference from person to person, and is shown force as we age. Which means a 5 year old hears within a certain range and a 50 years does as well, they before have an overlap....but there are ranges each one can hear that the other cannot. Also animals can hear a different pitch range than us as well, a dog whistle is an example).
      

So what does this have to do with aliens? Well some people have claimed to have communicated with aliens using spiritboxes. It would make sense as it is a device for communication, they may be able to communicate using an electronic interface or as a medium to speak through if they have a different tone range. However again the question with such communication is "How do they know English". Well communicating with one, they know a variety of languages and forms of communication....and are found of puzzles. So I would say that can be very real...so the question is knowing that I have activity...should I start using it?

Currently I am exploring options....some of these devices are free programs and I have suspicion with on-line or net connect applications as I fear they are influenced by the hosting isp or creator. However, as siad you do not know unless you you try.

Ghost Radar is an app for a smartphone/tablet/PC app. Currently there are three versions; classic, legacy, and connect. Classic is available for free and has the feature of an "Entity Detector" that can measure the current strength of the signal and a voicebox which allows communication. This works offline. They have a proprietary algorithm they use and do not explain how the program works, or why any device can be used. How does my PC/Smartphone have the ability to detect spirits and let alone communicate with them?

 Live Ghost Box by Steve Hultay is an app and online streaming program that allows communication using the reverse speech method on an AM broadband. So far he is constantly updating the program and is currently on its 39th iteration. There are free to use versions.

EchoVox by Big Beard Studios is one using a database of phonemes.
They are also the makers of BlackVox, DarkVox, EchoVox R-ITC, PhantomVox, SpiritVox, Spiritone, Spirit Voice, Spirit Lights, AudioTrap
and SpiriTrap. All these online apps are used for paranormal reasearh and are variations on the same principle.

The Calling: Spiritboxes Part 1

 Recently I been contemplating the issue of communication between alien entities and us human. As in a previous blog concerning communication, our language is a funny thing. The sounds that come out of our mouth, the symbols we use for comprehension, even our gestures are not universally understood. For example a smile in human society is a welcome expression, in the wild with animals it is a sign of aggression.
The way a person emphasizes or the inflection of a word can change its meaning, especially when one has to consider its context.... language in a normal sense if a very difficult thing to grasp. It is a skill that is acquired and needs to be sharpened by exposure and repetition. That is how we learn how to communicate, by exposure and repetition until a familiar understanding is built.

Those involved in the supernatural know there are a variety of tool used to communicate with beings who are not of this world (this includes religious people too!). Throughout the course of human history many cultures have come up with a series of methods to divine and communicate with beings; the deceased, angels, demons, and gods. These tools often take the form of tarot cards, runes, bibliomancy, crystal foci, chimes, automatic writing and drawing, and direct possession. This "medium" usually allows communication with otherworldly beings. So can one communicate with Aliens this way?

From what we can gather, they are an intelligent species that do collect and share data like we do. Through various encounters we have seen examples of writing, we observed language in various forms, and they do have an understanding of our culture. We assume that they have shared universal knowledge, like the grasp of mathematics, music, and concepts of medical and scientific understanding. So have they talked to us before? Some would argue yes, especially those that see a connection to alien influence with humanities rise to civilization and culture. Could these beings be the messengers of the gods of old? Were they confused with angels and demons? If they are these beings, then they already have established and laid basis for communication. So...why are they not talking...or is it because we are not listening.

Many of us who hold spiritual beliefs have been taught that exploration is a bad thing, that listening and communicating will damn our souls. Even in literature we are told this is taboo, as knowledge can drive a person insane. That the human mind cannot comprehend what is beyond our current scope of vision. We are constantly told that the whispers in the dark mean us harm...and we are lied to when those on high attempt to control us when they inform us that they are chosen and beings of light and goodness grace them with their whispers? We are taught to be afraid as their are devils to the left and angels to the right, but we fail to see the middle path. We cannot learn if we close our ears, our minds, and our hearts. We must be able to walk forward and withstand and adapt.

So going forward in our modern approach to things the concept of Spiritboxes come to pass. That there should be some technological way to communicate or at the very least listen to things that are unseen and unknown. Originally this was developed for paranormal investigations, allowing detection of electo-magntic fluctuations and hoping that a spirit can learn to communicate using various taps or beeps. The idea has progressed that they can communicate and form words as well, however I am unsure how a program was made...or even how a spirit would know how to operate.
