Movies: Ejecta

Ejecta is a fictional movie from 2014 that follows the story of William Cassidy. William Cassidy had an encounter some 39 years ago in which he was contacted by aliens. They simply knocked on his door and made William let them in. Since then he has had episodes, not abductions per say... but he often finds himself doing things and winding up in places he should no be at. These range from waking up in a field some 50 miles away, being move two states over, and even finding himself walking on water. Despite all this he is a researcher and astronomer who has been blogging about all of his experiences.

For some reason, he contacts a filmmaker and follower in the UFO phenomena, Joe Sullivan who happens to live some 40 miles away. For Joe this is the opportunity of a lifetime to interview
someone with a unique experience. He is invited to witness a solar flare with William and discuss what had happened. During the interview and stargazing a UFO is spotted. William can sense them and the UFO begins to hover. However it is believed there is a systems malfunction and the ship crashes. William and Joe head to the crash site and the ejection pod. They discover one alien is dead, and the other is wandering about. Over the next few hours they are chased and hunted by this alien, though in the end it is shot and examined by William and Joe.

This is where the movie actually begins, as it pieces together the previous nights events. Apparently a secret covert group working within the government sends armed men to the property of Mr. Cassidy. They capture and detain him. They begin to examine the site. William is then interrogated by a doctor as to what had happened. However William is non-cooperative and the doctor begin to torture him. She brings out various items that have been "recovered" and are used to mental torture someone. She begins to question what William is as he seems immune to the devices and has brief episodes in which he seems different. She confirms that Alien contact has been made and brings in the "Council". Her team eventually find Joe and brings him in, although  there seems to be somethings stalking them. Eventually the doctor breaks William, but instead he is possessed by an Alien. It informs her that "she will suffer the most" as they both trade jabs. She confesses to her involvement with alien recovery and experimentation, and it threatens here with punishment and they will find her. She ends up shooting William in the head, but the entity seems to be able to possesses bodies. She then realizes that Joe is probably compromised, but her warning is too late. Joe possessed by the alien infiltrates the facility and takes out all the armed men. Eventually finding the doctor and William. William recovers as the thing inside his head won't let him die. The entity takes it out and place it in the doctors head. Hours later the council arrives and find the doctor, trying to kill herself, but thing thing in her head won't let her die. The movie ends with Joe at home updating his blog, apparently the events of the previous night are completely rewritten. He believes it was all a hoax as no one was there and it was a waste of a drive.

The thing that is disturbing is the fact that the Aliens can put something in you, and it allows them to monitor and take control of you. This is partially really. There seems to be some sort of telepathic communication, either induced naturally or assisted by implants. What is scary is that William has been tortured and killed by these being many times, and they put him back. Kinda ring true with some of the stuff I went through. They made me suffer.

Again we have a disconnect on the greys, once again they are represent as a an intelligent species, but once downed they go into feral mode? They have sharp pointing teeth and run around on all fours and climb the walls. Why are they being depicted as fast scary monsters? They are scary.... but not like some monster.
