Movie: Encounter (2016)

This movie was released in early 2016 and is a fictional account of Ted and Lauren McBride.
The two are newlyweds who moved to San Luis Obispo, California to finish Ted's college thesis about the "Orb Phenomena"'. He arranged to rent part of a home located in the Salinas Valley that was once a Dairy Farm, that was then turned into a Bed & Breakfast, and then owned by a man named Jim.

Jim bought the property because the bank had foreclosed and it was a good deal. However there were unexplained phenomena happening here which attracted the interest of Ted. Although Ted sets up camera around the property, the only thing that seems odd is Lauren behavior and some marking along the wall. Within the next three days Jim commits suicide. Things go from bad to worse as the couple discover that this has nothing to do with ghost or orbs!

Personal Notes: The movie did rather well showing some of the tell tale signs, though somewhat exaggerated.
Among abductees there is a social anxiety and disassociative disorder, as per Jim. It does capture the tension in one quote "You don't understand! There is no where to hide! They will mark you too!". They definitely got the creepiness factor. One thing that hit home is the odd markings on the wall in the same pattern which I have noted in my hallway, the bedroom, and my aunt's room. The other thing that I don't like which hit home is Ted's spinal exam and right kidney area? They also got the time stamps right as most things occur between 3:00am and 5:00am.
The thing I don't understand is why at the end there is an interview of three individuals; Carol, Jack, and Johnathan. Are these individuals from the Bed & Breakfast? Who are they? Plus what is with the crop circle as well at the end?
Truth be told the Silinas Valley does have cases of alien abduction and UFO sightings like everywhere else, but nothing of this magnitude. There are more cases within big cities that people are unaware of.
