Weather: Night, Full Moon, Venus and Jupiter Visible toward theWest. A bit overcast.
Leaving home and drove with a friend to see their parent in Chinatown. As we were driving along opal I noticed that there was an odd object flying to the left of us. It was a series of small lights in a t formation, with a red light on from bottom view right side and a blue light from bottom view left side. I thought this was odd since it was in a T-formation. I noticed that there was an outline of a diamond...and was taken a back since that was not plane shaped. The middle red light flared a bit and was not steady. It was like a laser hologram that burst. The craft must have been turning at a slight angle that made it visible. As we drove it continued to fly off silently at a face pace east along the route of the 60 Freeway. It was very flat as the only lights I could see were a series of flashing blue lights and some of the white orbs. The corridor above Boyle Heights is usually very active with planes from LAX making turns, as well as news helicopters along the freeway, and the occasionally police and military choppers. This craft was not of the usual kind one would expect. I thought perhaps it was a drone, but at the height it was at it have to be as long or bigger than a standard 747.
The sighting did take place were there was a number of people driving around, and
there were other planes in the distance. It is possible that no one noticed as it was
not flashy and there are things flying in the sky all the time. The only reason why I
noticed it, was because it did not conform to the usual lights. Whether or not it was an extraterrestrial craft or not, it was an unidentified flying object.
