Movies: Unidentified

This movie came out in 2013 and follows four guys who take a trip from Los Angeles to Los Vegas.
The movie is film from the point of View of Jodie, an aspiring comic book artist and youtuber. He is a typically nerd and really smart. He works with his brother-in-law's cousin, Jeremy, and a co-worker named Dave. They all go with Nick, Jodie's brother-in-law on a trip. Nick has a serious gambling problem and is entering a high stakes game for $20,000.00. Jodie's sister Janelle asked to get this on tape to make Nick aware of his gambling addiction. Apparently he lost their life savings already.

While in Las Vegas they get entangled with strippers, a loan shark, and the high stakes poker game with down syndrome guys. This is Jodie's first trip out so he is overwhelmed by Vegas. On the way there though they id make a minor detour past the Lockheed Diner and explored an abandoned military base. Some weird things happened there which spooked them and they left. red lighting began shooting out of the sky.

As they left Vegas, red lightning came out of the sky and fried the car. During the middle of the night Jodie goes and pees by himself and encounters a probe. This probe squirts some black goo and he begins to wander the desert. In the morning his brother law and boss find him missing and they begin to look for him. They come across his cell and Jodie and find out that something weird happened to him. They try to get him help, but end up lost in the desert hoping to find help. Unfortunately they are being stalked by a grey and up near a UFO landing where several people are being taken/reviewed. A military truck pulls up and inspects the abductees, but Jeremy and Dave try to get Jodie help.They get shot and Jodie is taken in by the military. Nick is left in the desert with the UFO and abductees, and ends up being taken as well.

The movie again is showing the feral alien grey. It is low budget and comical, but why make such a film. Does this have any vernal of truth in this version of the Hangover meets Dark Skies?We know there is military organizations working with the greys, and there is black goo.... yet what is really going on? Well anyway the guy who played Jodie was very cute.
